About Us
The St. Louis Lady Cyclones was founded in June 2002 and has grown to be one of the largest all-girls hockey clubs in North America offering programs for female athletes aged 4-19. We are a volunteer organization and proud to call Centene Community Ice Center our home.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to be the leader in the growth and advocacy for girls hockey in the St. Louis region by providing a safe, player focused, and fun environment for female athletes. We believe there are three main tenets to achieving this:
- Introducing as many female athletes as possible to hockey through community outreach, try-hockey-for-free events, and having a best-in-class learn to play program.
- Having a player focused development approach that supports our athletes throughout all stages of their hockey careers and provides different levels of competitive options so that players can develop at their own pace
- Teaching our female athletes how to apply the lessons of teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for the game to all aspects of their lives so that they develop into the next generation of well-rounded citizens.
